Introduction

BYD has launched the “Ocean Series × Need for Speed” co-branded magnetic power bank on its official store. Although this accessory does not use BYD’s in-house battery cells, it reflects the company’s expanding presence in the consumer electronics sector beyond its core automotive business.

The device supports both wireless and wired charging modes, offering up to 15W wireless output and 20W wired output, and is equipped with a 10,000mAh high-capacity battery. The product has already passed China’s CCC certification. Next, we will take a closer look at the product’s design.

Inside the front panel, there is a small piece of insulating high-temperature adhesive tape in the upper-left corner, used to secure the power button.

The iSmartWare SW6201S is a highly integrated all-in-one solution designed for multi-protocol bidirectional fast-charging power banks. It supports fast charging on A+A+B+C ports in any combination, integrates a high-efficiency 5A switching charger, and enables up to 22.5W high-efficiency synchronous boost output. It is compatible with mainstream fast-charging protocols such as PPS, PD, and QC.

The chip also features power metering, digital display/LED indication, and associated control and management logic. Only a small number of external components are required to build a complete high-performance bidirectional fast-charging power bank solution.

The SW6201S supports up to 5A switching charging with efficiency reaching up to 96%. It features synchronous boost capability with output power up to 22.5W, along with automatic load detection, wireless charging support, and a low-current mode to ensure efficient charging. It is compatible with multiple fast-charging protocols, including PPS, PD 3.0, and QC 3.0, making it suitable for a wide range of devices.

The SW6201S also integrates a Type-C interface, BC1.2 module, power metering and display, support for 7-segment LED displays, button control, and comprehensive protection mechanisms, providing both convenience and safety.

With an I2C interface and a compact QFN-40 (5×5mm) package, it is easy to integrate into various applications, making it an ideal choice for power bank designs while delivering strong functionality and high performance.
