ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C tester has achieved another compatibility milestone. The latest firmware now fully supports the Infineon CYPD2803A1-09FNXI chip. Cables equipped with this chip can be quickly identified through the device's E-Marker reading function, allowing related chip information to be displayed clearly and intuitively.

The chip integrates a VCONN diode and Ra resistor, along with 47 bytes of internal memory for storing configuration data. It is designed for both single-chip and dual-chip passive cable applications, supports up to 48V/5A (240W) power delivery, and features an integrated oscillator that eliminates the need for an external clock source.
After upgrading the POWER-Z KM003C to the latest firmware, users can immediately test and read information from the chip.
With the recently released V2.0.0 firmware, the POWER-Z KM003C introduces industry-first cable IC identification capabilities on top of its existing E-Marker reading functions. Without the need for destructive operations such as cutting or stripping cables, users can accurately identify the embedded cable IC solution with a single click, clearly view key configuration details, and efficiently perform cable quality inspection and solution verification.
