Identified in Segotep’s latest ATX 3.1 750W PSU, the YW8330 is Youwang's answer to high-PF power design. It is a robust controller capable of driving efficiency over 90% across a wide range of platforms, from desktop PCs to enterprise servers.

Built on average current mode control, the YW8330 ensures excellent PF and THD benchmarks. Its low-power design—featuring a 50μA startup and 2.5mA operating current—is a standout, effectively cutting idle consumption. Plus, the integrated rail-to-rail driver delivers reliable gate drive performance for external PFC switches.

With built-in safeguards like over-voltage and over-current protection, and smart AC brown-out detection, the YW8330 ensures total stability under anomalous grid conditions. The custom PGTHL pin adds significant design freedom, all housed within standard DIP-14 or SOP-14 footprints.
