The New Updates of the Power-Z KM002C (New Xiaomi Private Protocol Detection)

ChargerLAB has upgraded the firmware of KM002C tester. Let's have a detailed look.

The New Updates of the Power-Z KM002C (New Xiaomi Private Protocol Detection)-Chargerlab

1.3.6 (Tester)

1. Added a new category to PD protocol detection and highlighted the Xiaomi private protocol and PD3.1 (>20V).

2. Fixed the crash when monitoring PD protocol.

3. Fixed power error of dashboard.

4. Fixed the wrong E-marker info of Thunderbolt 3 cable.

The first one of these updates shows the new Xiaomi private protocol. Then, we use three Xiaomi chargers for testing demonstration.

Here are the 65W dual-port GaN charger, 120W GaN charger and 120W original charger.

The first is the Xiaomi AD652G 65W 1A1C GaN charger. The POWER-Z KM002C shows that it supports PD, QC3.0, AFC and Xiaomi fast charging protocol.

It also supports two Xiaomi PPS of 5-11V5A / 5-20V3.25A.

Under the PPS of 5-20V3.25A and voltage of 20V, the charger has a loaded output.

The second is the Xiaomi MDY-13-ET 120W GaN charger. The POWER-Z KM002C shows that it supports PD, QC3.0 and Xiaomi fast charging protocol.

It also supports two Xiaomi PPS of 3.6-11V5A / 3.6-20V4.8A.

Under the PPS of 5-20V4.8A and voltage of 20V, the charger has a loaded output.

Summary of ChargerLAB

ChargerLAB has upgraded the firmware of the Power-Z KM002C tester. The 1.3.6 updates added a new category to PD protocol detection and highlighted the Xiaomi private protocol and PD3.1 (>20V). Besides, many bugs are fixed, too.
