Have you ever had to “brutally” cut open a cable just to confirm which E-marker solution it uses? No need anymore — the ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C portable fast-charging protocol tester is getting yet another new feature!

The E-marker detection function has been further upgraded. When reading E-marker information, it can now simultaneously identify the IC solution being used. No cable stripping, no professional equipment required — just a quick test to see the key information at a glance. Whether for cable quality inspection, solution verification, or avoiding pitfalls when purchasing, this will be your reliable assistant.
It only takes a few simple steps:
- Enter the “Modules” menu
- Select the “USB=C eMarker” function
- Connect the cable and test with one click
The detection result now adds a new line showing the IC information on top of the original data, directly displaying the specific chip model used in the cable.
This feature will be officially released in the next firmware update. Stay tuned for update notifications and be among the first to experience it!
Note: Final functionality is subject to the officially released version.
