iCM’s CM1003-BZS-PD is a protection IC for single-cell Li-ion/Li-polymer batteries. It features high-precision voltage detection and multi-stage delay control to guard against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuits in portable devices.

The IC maintains an overcharge voltage of 4.375V (±25mV) and over-discharge threshold of 2.800V. It includes discharge overcurrent (0.150V) and short-circuit (0.500V) protection with an 8ms delay to prevent accidental triggers. It offers extreme power efficiency with 1.5μA operating current and <50nA sleep current, significantly minimizing board power loss.

The CM1003-BZS-PD provides a compact (SOT23-6), stable, and RoHS-compliant solution for battery safety. It is an ideal choice for power banks and wearable devices, helping manufacturers improve product reliability and extend standby time while ensuring safe operation under various load conditions.
