Global battery powerhouse COSMX made a splash at CIBF 2026 by debuting its latest 21700 cylindrical cells. With a strategic focus on high-performance power tools and BBU systems for data centers, COSMX is making a major push into industrial-grade energy solutions. By leveraging both NCM and LFP chemistries, the company is proving it can handle everything from extreme power bursts to decade-long reliable service.

The hardware lineup includes two key cells. The 5000mAh NCM cell is a beast for power tools, packing an energy density of 261Wh/kg. It’s engineered to keep tools like drills and saws running cool and at peak power, even during heavy, continuous use. On the other hand, the 2600mAh LFP cell is designed for the data center. It can handle high-power discharge for over 90 seconds, providing a critical safety net when the power goes out. Plus, it’s certified to global standards like UL1973 and is built to last up to 10 years at 45°C, making it a reliable workhorse for cloud infrastructure.

This launch marks a significant shift for COSMX as it moves beyond consumer gadgets and into heavy-duty industrial energy markets. By nailing the balance between power, heat control, and longevity, COSMX is cementing its reputation as a key player in the global power tool and energy storage supply chain.
