A Look at Samsung’s Charging Power Strategy for 2024

Joey
September 14, 2024

As we all know, Samsung phones have never been famous for fast charging power, largely due to their main competitor: Apple's similarly conservative fast charging strategy. However, this year, the brand new iPhone is very likely to support 15V3A and 45W charging power! So we think this is a great opportunity to take a look at Samsung's phone charging power, specifically for 2024. Let's check it out!

A Look at Samsung’s Charging Power Strategy for 2024-Chargerlab

As of September 13, 2024, ChargerLAB POWER-Z has recorded that Samsung has released 18 fast-charging phones this year. The results are a bit boring because, except for the Galaxy XCover7, Samsung actually only offers two levels of charging power—25W and 45W. Essentially, their strategy is to give 45W charging power to the highest-end models in a series, while the rest only get 25W.
