Back in November 2016, Qualcomm announced its Quick Charge 4 charging technology which was the first to be compatible with USB PD2.0 protocol. The lastest Quick Charge 4+ features all the benefits of Quick Charge 4 and more. In a device, this includes, Dual Charge, Battery Saver and charging thermals reduction. Quick Charge 4+ charging accessories are backward compatible to Quick Charge 3.0 and 2.0. Quick Charge 4+ supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD) as its primary protocol and is designed to deliver the ultimate fast-charging performance for mobile devices. Now there are 30 mobile phones that are certified from Qualcomm for the latest QC4+.
