Introduction

JADARD has been deeply involved in the fast-charging protocol chip industry for years, offering USB-IF and Qualcomm-certified protocol chips. Among its latest innovations, the JD6610x series features a hardware-based architecture, delivering intelligent and efficient fast-charging solutions. These chips are widely adopted in travel adapters, power banks, power strips, and wall chargers, gaining recognition from leading brands worldwide.

JADARD's fast-charging chips support multiple mainstream protocols, including BC1.2, Apple 2.4A, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, QC5, UFCS, and PD3.0/PD3.1-EPR+PPS. Designed with advanced features like intelligent power reduction and constant voltage/current control, these chips cater to diverse market needs. The JD6610x series is highly cost-effective, priced as low as 0.1x CNY, allowing manufacturers to achieve PD certification at minimal expense.

JD6610Q Overview

The JD6610Q is a multi-protocol USB high-voltage dedicated charging port controller designed for fast-charging applications. It supports Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) 2.0, QC 3.0, and the latest QC 3.0+ protocols, along with Huawei's FCP/SCP and Samsung's AFC protocols.

By detecting the D+/D- data line voltage, the JD6610Q identifies the charging protocol requirements of connected devices and automatically selects the appropriate charging mode. It supports an output voltage range of 3.6V to 12V, optimizing charging time for improved efficiency.

JD6610Q also supports USB BC 1.2 and Apple 2.4A charging, ensuring broad compatibility with mainstream devices and delivering stable charging performance. If a connected device does not support QC, FCP, SCP, or AFC protocols, the chip automatically disables voltage adjustment and maintains a safe 5V output to ensure system stability and reliability.

Additionally, the JD6610Q features Constant Voltage (CV) mode, making it ideal for applications that require precise voltage control. This ensures accurate output voltage regulation, meeting the needs of high-precision power applications.

The chip is available in a compact SOT-23-6L package, making it suitable for wall adapters, car chargers, and USB power output ports, providing an efficient and highly integrated power solution.

Key Features

  • Supports USB BC 1.2 protocol
  • Apple 2.4A charging compatibility
  • Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0/3+ support
  • Compatible with Huawei FCP/SCP protocols
  • Supports Samsung AFC protocol
  • Automatic detection and adjustment of charging mode based on D+/D- signals
