Addressing the demand for multi-protocol compatibility, high-precision output, and smart digital display integration, HYSEMi has introduced the HY5515A, a fast-charge protocol controller based on a high-performance MCU architecture. Designed for 45W–100W USB PD chargers, AC/DC adapters, and smart digital-display power banks, the chip supports mainstream protocols including PD3.2, PPS, and UFCS. It integrates high-precision feedback control, I²C/UART communication, and hardware-level protection into a single die, allowing manufacturers to drastically simplify peripheral circuits and accelerate time-to-market for next-gen high-efficiency chargers.

The HY5515A packs massive processing power, high-precision closed-loop regulation, and rich interactive interfaces into a compact QFN24 package. Featuring a 32-bit ARM MCU with 32Kb Flash, 4Kb SRAM, and 128-bit e-Fuse ROM, it supports a wide operating voltage of 3.3V–32V. Beyond standard USB PD3.2 and PPS, it offers comprehensive downward compatibility with UFCS, QC3.0+, SCP, FCP, and AFC, ensuring seamless power matching for popular terminals like the iPhone 15/16/17 series.

The internal 11-bit DAC for CV loops and 9-bit DAC for CC loops, paired with a 10-bit ADC, enable fine-tuned regulation. Integrated I²C and UART interfaces allow for real-time output of V/I/P data to LCD/LED displays, eliminating the need for an external display driver MCU. Safety features include robust OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP, and full-pin ESD protection (±4kV). With integrated VCONN for SOP' E-marker cable support and a "Zero Power Mode" achieving <5mW standby consumption, the HY5515A helps devices meet global energy efficiency standards effortlessly.

The HY5515A overcomes traditional engineering bottlenecks such as limited protocol coverage and complex auxiliary circuitry. By utilizing HYSEMi’s highly integrated MCU architecture and reliable supply chain, manufacturers can develop multi-port chargers and smart-display power banks on a single hardware platform via simple firmware updates. With its <5mW standby loss and high-reliability design, the HY5515A sets a new benchmark for cost-effective, high-performance 45W–100W fast-charging solutions.
