Introduction
OPPO, as a leader in the fast charging field, continues to innovate and drive the development of the fast charging industry, constantly optimizing the user charging experience. Since 2014, OPPO has pioneered the mobile fast charging era with the release of the first-generation VOOC in the Find 7, advancing from 22.5W to the current mass-produced 240W SUPERVOOC. Its technology has continuously progressed. With over 3,700 fast charging patents, OPPO holds the global lead, and for every two effective fast charging patents authorized in the industry, almost one comes from OPPO.
This time, ChargerLAB has obtained a small-sized, 100W GaN charger from OPPO. Despite its mini size, it delivers a powerful 100W output, capable of powering devices such as phones, gaming consoles, and laptops. Let's take a look at its performance.
Product Appearance

The OPPO 100W SUPERVOOC GaN Charger comes with a cable that supports magnetic self-winding.

Its shell is made of flame-retardant PC and is equipped with a USB-C port. Thanks to the support of GaN technology, it is extremely small in size among products with the same power.

The surface is engraved with 100W GaN.

The other side has OPPO printed on it.

It features a foldable plug for easy storage.

The plastic sheet of the USB-C port is black, and the port supports 100W SUPERVOOC and 65W PD, etc.

Charging Test
Now, let's take a look at its charging test.
Compatibility Test

Use it to charge the realme GT 5, the power is about 8.70V 9.06A 78.83W.

Use it to charge the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, the power is about 9.06V 9.08A 82.22W.

Use it to charge the Huawei MateBook X Pro, the power is about 19.81V 3.14A 62.13W.

Summarizing the data into a table, most phones can reach a voltage of 9V. Similarly, for laptops, handhelds, and tablets that support PD fast charging, they can reach 15V or 20V.

The OPPO Find X7 Ultra has the highest charging power, reaching 82.4W. The power of other laptops and game consoles can reach more than 57W. Phones and tablets that support high-power PD and PSS have charging power ranging from 13 to 42.69W.
Full Charging Test
Next, we'll use it to fully charge the OnePlus 13. They will be put into a 25°C (77℉) thermotank throughout the test. Here is the charging curve made by the PC software of KM003C.

The voltage is always around 8.5V. The charging curve can be divided into six parts. The power is around 79W for the first minute. Then, the power gradually drops to 70W, 63W, 52W, and 45W in turn. The final part begins at 20 minutes, the power drops to almost zero. It takes 38 minutes to charge the OnePlus 13 fully.

The OPPO 100W SUPERVOOC GaN charger can charge the OnePlus 13 to 50% in 12 minutes, 80% in 23 minutes, and fully charge in 38 minutes. The charging speed is fast, and the performance is excellent.
Standby Power Test
Next, we will test its standby power consumption.

The power consumption at 220V 50Hz is 0.03W, and 0.06W at 110V 60Hz, which is about 0.263 and 0.526KW·h in one year, respectively. So, you do not need to worry about the waste of electricity.
Conversion Efficiency Test
Then, we are going to the conversion efficiency test.

The conversion efficiency varies from 91.02% to 92.92% at 220V 50Hz, and the conversion efficiency varies from 90.22% to 90.68% at 110V 60Hz. The charger achieves a conversion efficiency of up to 92.92% under the two voltages.
Overall, the conversion efficiency of the OPPO 100W SUPERVOOC GaN Charger under two voltages performs well among similar devices.
Ripple Test
Power adapters rely on switch-mode power supplies, which means that the output from the transformer's secondary winding is not direct current and must be rectified and filtered by capacitors before being outputted. As a result, ripples can exist in the output signal. To evaluate the quality of the adapter's output, ChargerLAB employs an oscilloscope to test the ripple value of the converter's output and compare it with industry standards. In general, the lower the ripple, the higher the output quality.

Firstly, let's check out its ripple without load. When the output is 20V0A, the lowest ripple is around 26.4 mVp-p. When the output is 5V 0A, the highest ripples are around 58.4 mVp-p.

Then, move to the ripple test when loaded. When the output is 5V3A, the highest ripple is 71.2 mVp-p. The ripple decreases as the power increases.
Overall, its peak ripple is only 71.2mVp-p, which is a good performance.
Temperature Test
Then, we are going to the maximum temperature test. The OPPO 100W charger supports a maximum output of 65W at 220V 50Hz, and up to 45W at 110V 60Hz. To test its thermal performance, the charger will be placed into a 25°C (75℉) thermotank, and recorded the highest temperature on the front and back after one hour of operation under two different loads: 20V 3.25A and 20V 2.25A.
First, let’s check out the temperature performance under 220V 50Hz.

After one hour of loading, the maximum front temperature is 53.3°C (127.94 ℉).

And the maximum temperature on the back is 55.3℃ (131.54 ℉).
Next, check how the temperature performance is under 110V 60Hz.

After one hour, the maximum front temperature is 64.7°C (148.46 ℉).

And the maximum temperature on the back is 71.7℃ (161.06 ℉). Since the unit we received is a sample and does not contain thermal gel inside, the temperature tends to be higher. The commercially available version includes thermal gel for improved heat dissipation, which helps reduce the overall operating temperature.

Creating a bar chart to represent the data, it is evident that this adapter reaches a maximum temperature of 71.7℃ (161.06 ℉) when operating under 110V 60Hz. This temperature complies with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 62368 standards for electronic and electrical equipment test, which stipulates that the temperature should not exceed 77 °C.
