Not long ago, we showcased the upcoming E-marker IC reading feature for the KM003C. With no need to strip the cable or use professional equipment, it can easily read the chip solution inside the cable.
But that’s not all — there’s an even more special feature: for Apple cables, it can directly read the exclusive SN code — the cable’s unique “digital ID card”! This code serves as the cable’s identity. Every Apple cable’s SN follows strict official encoding rules and is globally unique. In the past, obtaining this information required professional instruments and disassembly. Now, the KM003C makes it fully “transparent” with just one click.
This new feature is extremely easy to use — just one click to read the data. Whether for cable quality inspection, solution verification, or avoiding pitfalls during daily purchases, it will be a powerful assistant. Operation only takes a few simple steps:
- Enter the “Modules” menu
- Select the “USB-C eMarker” function
- Connect the cable and test with one click
