Analysis of Infineon XDPS2201 170W Charger Prototype

Introduction
---------------------------------------------------------------
ChargerLAB got an XDPS2201 170W charger prototype from Infineon. It adopts a simple design of single-stage hybrid-flyback topology for 24V to 36V Li-Ion battery packs.The synchronous rectification makes the system efficiency can be up to 95% under 230V AC when fully loaded.

Filter Capacitor: WE
Optocoupler: VOL618A

Synchronous Rectification Circuit:
Synchronous Rectifier Controller: MPS MP6951
Synchronous Rectifier: Infineon BSC160N15NS5

Output Filtering Circuit:
Electrolytic Capacitor: KEMET, Rubycon
Op-Amp: TI TLV9102

Auxiliary Circuit:
Auxiliary Master Control Chip: Infineon CE5AR4770AG
Electrolytic Capacitor: Würth
Optocoupler: VOL618A
SMD Solid Capacitor: Würth
