Introduction

Looking back at the development of the fast charging industry, the transition from slow charging to fast charging has been marked by continuous technological advancements, greatly enhancing convenience in daily life. However, despite rapid market expansion, the industry has encountered bottlenecks. Different brands have adopted their own fast charging protocols, leading to severe standard fragmentation. As a result, compatibility issues between devices and chargers from different brands have forced users to carry multiple chargers, which is neither environmentally friendly nor convenient. This challenge has significantly hindered the further growth of the fast charging industry.

The emergence of the UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) aims to unify fast charging standards, enabling seamless interconnection and rapid charging across different brand devices. UFCS is a next-generation integrated fast charging protocol jointly developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, and various terminal, chip, and industry partners. It addresses the complexity and incompatibility of current fast charging standards while promoting global energy conservation, green initiatives, and sustainable development.

Since the launch of the UFCS standard, it has gained strong support from both upstream and downstream players in the charging industry, with increasing numbers of certified terminal devices, accessories, and chip products.

Injoinic Achieves UFCS Certification for Six Chips

The UFCS certification is highly authoritative and influential in the fast charging industry, setting strict requirements for compatibility, safety, and stability.

As a senior member of the Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association, Shenzhen Injoinic Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 688209) has been an active promoter of the integrated fast charging ecosystem. To date, Injoinic has successfully launched six products that have passed UFCS certification, covering a wide range of application scenarios and power levels, demonstrating its strong R&D capabilities and deep industry expertise.

These certified chips are capable of intelligently recognizing different devices’ fast charging requirements and automatically adapting to the optimal charging protocol. Whether for Apple devices, Android devices, or other brands, these chips ensure fast and efficient charging.

Injoinic has always been dedicated to chip technology research and development. Its R&D team has conducted in-depth studies on various fast charging protocols, continuously optimizing and innovating to overcome multiple technical challenges. For instance, in terms of compatibility, the team has implemented advanced algorithms and intelligent recognition technology to enable chips to quickly and accurately identify different devices’ fast charging requirements and automatically adjust charging parameters for optimal performance. Regarding safety, the chips are equipped with multiple protection mechanisms, including overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and overheating protection. These features effectively prevent potential safety hazards during charging, ensuring a secure user experience.
