Introduction

As OPPO's flagship smartphone series, the Find X series is renowned for its striking design, cutting-edge specifications, and high-performance imaging capabilities, earning acclaim from numerous enthusiasts. A prime example is the latest addition, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra.

Not long ago, we conducted a fully charging test for the OPPO Find X7 Ultra using its original 100W charger. Today, we delve into its charging compatibility with both original and third-party chargers.

Charging Compatibility Test

Next, ChargerLAB will conduct the test, evaluating its compatibility with a selection of more than dozens of charging devices, aiming to cover the majority of users' charging scenarios.

Original Chargers

Let's take the OPPO 80W charger as an example. According to ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C, it provides the OPPO Find X7 Ultra with 8.35V 6.25A, totaling 52.16W.

Switching to the OPPO 100W charger, the power output increases to 8.85V 9.06A, totaling 80.16W.

Summarizing the compatibility data from the original chargers, we observe that OPPO's original chargers trigger around 8V voltage with a current ranging from 6-9A, showcasing a low-voltage, high-current.

Plotting the data into a bar graph, we notice that both the OPPO 100W and realme 240W chargers deliver the highest charging power for the OPPO Find X7 Ultra, reaching up to 80W.

Third-party Chargers

For third-party chargers, the Apple 70W charger only supplies 8.83V 1.44A, totaling 12.53W to the OPPO Find X7 Ultra.

Switching to the AOHi 140W charger, the power output remains relatively low at 8.89V 1.91A, totaling 16.99W.

Similarly, the CUKTECH 140W charger yields similar results, providing 8.98V 1.91A, totaling 17.14W to the OPPO Find X7 Ultra.

When using third-party chargers, most models maintain a charging current around 2A. Additionally, if the third-party charger supports UFCS fast charging, the phone's charging power can increase to around 24W. Although not significantly better than 18W, it's still better than nothing.

Plotting the charging power data into a bar graph reveals that when using third-party chargers, the charging power for the Find X7 Ultra predominantly remains around the 17W range, with UFCS-compatible chargers reaching approximately 24W.

Summary of ChargerLAB

Unsurprisingly, when using third-party chargers, OPPO phones still achieve a maximum power output of less than 30W. Compared to the original charger's output, which easily exceeds 50W, this falls short. Therefore, it's recommended that all OPPO Find X7 Ultra users stick to using the original charger and cable for the best charging experience.
