Introduction

On April 24, 2025, the OnePlus 13T, hailed as the "small-screen powerhouse," was officially released. As the pinnacle of high-performance compact smartphones, the OnePlus 13T brought a refreshing impact to the industry. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition (also referred to as the "Ultimate Edition") mobile platform and boasts the largest VC (vapor chamber) cooling area among small-screen phones, breaking the stereotype that compact phones lack power.

Despite its compact 6.32-inch body, the OnePlus 13T is equipped with a massive 6260mAh battery, leading the battery life rankings among small-screen phones and even surpassing many larger flagships. It achieves a perfect balance between exceptional in-hand feel and long-lasting battery life, allowing small-screen phone users to finally say goodbye to battery anxiety.

When using the original charger set to charge the OnePlus 13T, the power is about 9.32V 7.21A 67.15W.

6260mAh+80W | Charging Review of OnePlus 13T-Chargerlab

The charging power can reach up to 69.06W.

6260mAh+80W | Charging Review of OnePlus 13T-Chargerlab

We summarize the test results into a bar chart. Except for the OnePlus 65W charger, the rest can reach 7A current, and the power is above 67W.

Third-party Chargers

We also used a variety of third-party chargers with the original cable during the test. Let’s take a look at the results.

6260mAh+80W | Charging Review of OnePlus 13T-Chargerlab

There are no compatibility issues. Most third-party chargers can reach a voltage of around 9V.

We summarize the test results into a bar chart. The charging power is mainly concentrated in two gears: 17W and 25W. Huawei's 100W charger also supports the UFCS protocol, so it can reach a higher current and a charging power of 34.21W.

Full Charging Test

We use the original charger to fully charge the OnePlus 13T. And put them into a 25°C (77℉) thermotank throughout the test.

6260mAh+80W | Charging Review of OnePlus 13T-Chargerlab

The voltage is around 9V at first. The charging curve can be divided into six parts. The peak power is around 67W for the first 38 seconds. Then, the power gradually drops to 53W, 35W, 33W, and 13W in turn. The final part begins at 46 minutes, and the power drops to 5V. It takes 1 hour and 1 minute to be fully charged.

We also turn it into another curve. It reaches 50% in 21 minutes. And it can reach 80% in 35 minutes, 100% in 1 hour and 1 minute.

Temperature Test

We also recorded the highest temperature on the front and back after charging for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes.

10 minutes Charging
