Introduction

The iPhone 15 series has upgraded to a USB-C port, with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max supporting USB 3.0. ChargerLAB has learned that ZIKE has launched a hard drive specifically designed for the 15 series, which also supports magnetic attachment.

ZIKE Magnetic Hard Drive

ZIKE’s new magnetic hard drive features in black, with the body made of aluminum alloy and PC material. It comes with a capacity of 256GB, with larger capacity versions available. Its read speed can be up to 60MB/s and the write speed is 120MB/s.

The back of the drive is silver-gray, with magnetic sides that can attach to the iPhone for convenient use. It supports USB 3.2 Gen1 with 5Gbps speed and is also compatible with USB 2.0, making it an essential external storage device for the iPhone 15 series.

The bottom of the product has a USB-C port, allowing the phone to charge simultaneously while using the hard drive. The hard drive comes with an "L-shaped" cable that attaches magnetically to the iPhone. The combined weight of the hard drive and cable is only about 17g (0.6 oz).

Thanks to its compact size, the ZIKE magnetic hard drive can be attached to the iPhone without adding significant weight, making it ideal for video recording or photography.

The surface of the hard drive includes a display that shows important information such as capacity, transfer rate, real-time power, and temperature. The external hard drive can charge the iPhone 15 Pro at a power of 27W.

Using the magnetic hard drive, you can set the iPhone camera to store files directly in the hard drive. Recorded 4K 60Hz ProRes HDR videos can be stored directly on the hard drive, making it very convenient. Videos stored on the hard drive can be easily transferred to a laptop for post-processing, increasing work efficiency.
