Compatibility Test
Next, let's do the charging compatibility test.
Third-party Chargers
We used a variety of third-party chargers during the test. Let’s take a look at the results.

The test results for third-party chargers are summarized in the table. Most tested chargers delivered stable power output, with the majority achieving a voltage of 20V. A smaller number of chargers, due to power limitations, only reached 9V or 12V.

We have compiled the test results into a bar chart. There are no compatibility issues. Most of the tested chargers can reach the maximum PD fast charging power supported by either the charger itself or the laptop. The majority deliver charging power between 52W and 62W. Lower-power chargers still achieve outputs ranging from 17W to 42W. The highest charging power is 62.06W.
Power Banks

The majority of power banks support 20V charging, while a few operate at 9V or 15V.

Compiled the test results into a bar chart. There are no compatibility issues. The results are consistent with third-party chargers.
Full Charging Test

The power meter shows a charging power of up to 67.87W.
We use the original 65W charger to fully charge the ASUS Vivobook 16. And put them into a 25°C (77℉) thermotank throughout the test.

It reaches 50% in 32 minutes. And it can reach 80% in 1 hour and 1 minute, 100% in 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Temperature Test
We also recorded the highest temperature on the keyboard deck and bottom side after charging for 20 minutes, 40 minutes, and 60 minutes.
20 minutes Charging

After 20 minutes, the maximum temperature on the keyboard deck is 32.6℃ (90.68 ℉).

The bottom side is 36.2℃ (97.16 ℉).
40 minutes Charging

After 40 minutes, the maximum temperature on the keyboard deck is 32.7℃ (90.86 ℉).

The bottom side is 34.6℃ (94.28 ℉).
60 minutes Charging

After 60 minutes, the maximum temperature on the keyboard deck is 30.2℃ (86.36 ℉).

The bottom side is 32.8℃ (91.04 ℉).

We also turn it into a bar chart. During charging for 1 hour, the temperature is between 30.3 and 36.2°C. The temperature of the keyboard deck is always lower than that of the bottom side. At its peak temperature, it feels only mildly warm when touched.
