Red Magic, the professional gaming sub-brand of Nubia, has recently announced its brand-new flagship, the Red Magic 3. It went on sale in China on May 3 along with a series of accessories. Among the gaming-themed accessories, the Red Magic 10000mAh Power Bank – named as “The Magazine”, is capable of 27W PD and QuickCharge output, which is particularly cool and versatile.
On the outside, the Red Magic 10000mAh Power Bank features a tough yet stealth look with anti-fingerprint coating and a black and red color scheme that screams gaming. The magazine-styled body has a minimum thickness of just 9.2mm(2.76-inch) and features rubberized coating on the sides, offering great hand-feel.
On the inside, the Red Magic “Magazine” is powered by a 10000mAh/37Wh Lithium Polymer battery. Its Type-C port can handle PD and multiple fast charging standards including QC 2.0/QC 3.0/PD 3.0/FCP/AFC/DCP with 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/2.25A 27W max output. The Type-C port is also responsible for input up to 18W. The Red Magic 10000mAh Power Bank also has a traditional USB-A port for 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A 18W max output. It can charge the Redmagic 3, the brand’s newest gaming beast with 5000mAh battery, in just 1 hour and 40 minutes.
With the help of a state-of-the-art Cypress power management chip, the Red Magic 10000mAh Power Bank offers 9 levels of safety protection including short-circuit protection, temperature protection, reset protection, output current regulation, output high-voltage protection, input high-voltage protection, reverse input protection, battery overdischarge protection, and hardware level battery short-circuit protection.
The Red Magic 10000mAh Power Bank is priced at 149RMB(22USD) and is available for purchase for Chinese domestic customers at nubia.com. Global availability is currently unknown, but hopefully, this unique gaming themed power bank will hit global shelves soon.
