Xiaomi released Mi Notebook Pro GTX version in August 2018. It is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q and shipped with a 90W USB-C charger. However, the charger is not sold individually. Since 90W rated USB-C charger is quite rare on the market, we obtained one to check out if there is anything special about it.

With ChargerLAB Power-Z KT001 USB Power Monitor, we know that it supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 and Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0/3.0.
The PDOs(Power Data Structures) read by KT001 is consistent with the listed specification.
We charge a demo unit of HyperJuice 100W USB-C powerbank with the Xiaomi 90W USB-C charger and it shows the powerbank is getting around 88.42W input. This is a very impressive performance and among the fastest charging speeds we have seen.
The Xiaomi 65W and 45W USB-C chargers are available to purchase individually in China for around US$15 and the US version, Zmi Turbo 45W USB-C charger is available on Amazon US for $20. The Xiaomi chargers always deliver excellent performance at a very low price and we hope the 90W USB-C charger can soon hit the retail market. It would be an excellent match for 15-inch laptops like XPS 15 and MacBook Pro 15-inch.
