Qualcomm just released the newest list of Quick Charge 4+ certified smartphones, chargers, and controllers. Quick Charge 4+ is the latest charging protocol from Qualcomm. Compared to its predecessor, QuickCharge 3.0, Quick Charge 4+ adds the compatibility of USB Power Delivery. Quick Charge 4+ charger can now charge a USB Power Delivery only device and USB Power Delivery charger can now charge a Quick Charge 4+ device. This makes both USB Power Delivery and Quik Charge 4+ much more versatile than before. It also reduces the power increments from 200mV to 20mV to obtain better efficiency. QuickCharge 4+ is supported by the lastest Qualcomm Mobile SoCs(System-on-Chips) including Snapdragon 845, Snapdragon 710 and Snapdragon 675, but it is up to the manufacture whether or not to implemment in their devices.
The list is pretty short compared to Quick Charge 3.0. Popular Snapdragon 845 Android smartphones from Samsung, Google, and HTC are missing from the list. We can expect to see more smartphone released in 2019 to feature Quick Charge 4+.
